What the FDA could not find
Checked September 30, 2026, the FDA review found no published report of TB-500 being given to a human. It found no human study of how TB-500 moves through the body or acts there.
Source aA case report is a written account of an individual’s care. The FDA found none for TB-500 in the published medical literature it searched.
Source aThe same review found no animal study testing the healing effect of TB-500 itself. This is a lack of supporting evidence, not proof that every possible effect has been ruled out.
Source aA registry heading can mislead
A trial registry is a public record of planned studies and posted results. The TB-500 registry search checked on September 30, 2026 returned a record whose own summary describes it as fictional.
Source bThat record cannot count as evidence of a real TB-500 trial. The entry says “Recruiting”, which normally means a study is seeking volunteers. But its own summary says this study is fictional, so that label is not evidence that anyone is being enrolled.
Source bWhat would answer the care question
Ask what was given, to whom, for which problem and what happened. Ask what the study does not answer. These are questions to carry into care, not a request to master a research field.
If a reply switches to thymosin beta-4, keep the switch visible in your notes. The human studies of that full protein do not become studies of TB-500.
